Meet Tammy
The Soul Behind the Compass
Born in Mississauga, Ontario, with family roots in St-Quentin, New Brunswick, Tammy Cormier is proudly bilingual, with French as her first language, and offers services in both English and French. Her love for the mountains began at 13, when her father first took her skiing—a spark that became a lifelong calling.
Teaching skiing since 2007 and building a career in high-level customer service across resorts and luxury settings, Tammy discovered Sun Peaks and never looked back. She and her husband Mikey were married at the Sun Peaks Mid-Mountain chapel, an iconic spot that embodies the mountain's magic and the kind of once-in-a-lifetime experiences she now creates for her guests.
As co-founder of Cole Compass, Tammy specializes in VIP concierge services, curating bespoke mountain experiences that blend adventure, comfort, and exclusivity. Her passion lies in anticipating every detail, creating seamless itineraries, and delivering the kind of personal touches that make guests feel truly valued. Whether it’s a private sunrise ski, a surprise in-chalet celebration, or a once-in-a-lifetime off-mountain adventure, Tammy ensures every experience is as effortless as it is extraordinary.

The Heart of the Mountain
Born as a twin in Timmins, Ontario, Mikey grew up at Kamiskotia Ski Resort, where his father managed the hill. From his first steps on snow at age two, he learned the rhythm of resort life—greeting guests by name, solving problems on the fly, and creating the kind of moments people remember long after they leave.
Now calling Sun Peaks home, Mikey blends that lifelong hospitality with a passion for adventure. As a certified tandem skydiving instructor and coach, he’s guided countless first-timers through life-changing jumps, helping them swap fear for exhilaration. Whether it’s carving powder, soaring through the sky, or designing a once-in-a-lifetime trip, Mikey thrives on curating experiences that spark joy and confidence.
With Cole Compass, his mission is simple: share the mountain lifestyle, elevate every detail, and make sure every guest leaves feeling like their story just got better and leaving a strong impression of what’s possible.
